65% of parts of Bandar Abbas oil refinery provided internally

Managing director of Bandar Abbas Oil Refining Company Hashem Namvar noted that opening of the recent project of increase and improving the quality of gasoline and gasoil at the refinery with the presence of the president is a symbol of Iranian authority, prestige and knowledge underlying 65 percent of the components needed for the project were provided inside in the country.

Namvar said on Saturday that in the provision of equipment in the construction and completion of this national plan, including containers, heat exchangers, towers and their accessories, the capabilities of companies and industries inside the country were used.

He went on to say, supplying electrical cables and instruments, pipes, fittings, air coolers, water coolers and some pumps were also parts purchased from companies and industries in the country.

Managing director of Bandar Abbas Oil Refining Company highlighted, 'In addition to paying attention and using effectively the ability of domestic companies to implement self-reliance policies and cut off dependence on the outside, the attention and trust in the scientific knowledge of the refinery specialists, the support and use of their creativity also played a role a great deal to accelerate the implementation of the plan.”
